MMP begun doing church planting in every slum with a large number of people who came to know Jesus are youth from the community where we are ministering. When they receive Christ as Lord and Savior and follow Him, gradually they grow in their faith, mature in their character, become a responsible Christian and a model of their community, family, school and with their group/barkada.  For the past nine years of church planting, we noticed that the number of young people who come to know Jesus are increasing. Youth who accepted Jesus

Christ are now reaching out to their friends, classmates and relatives. In spite of poverty and lack of material things, we witnessed how God changed their lives from darkness to light. Last year 2006, the Lord impressed on us the need for young potential leaders to be exposed and trained especially in the field of evangelism and leadership. The core group came up with a plan to conduct leadership training and workshop, evangelistic camp and other activities for the youth in order for them to be trained in the field of ministry as our service to God.

Christian leaders committed to lead other to God

Preaching and teaching God’s word to all young people in our community and provide trainings and exposures for them to grow as Christian leaders.

Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity.
-1 Timothy 4:12

1. To share the gospel to the young people in the slum community.
2. To teach young people how to become a model as Christians through Bible study and discipleship training.
3. To discover and enhance their God-given talents and maximize them to serve God.
4. To develop their personality and character as Christians.
5. To give them opportunity to lead (like camp, Christian activities etc.)
   
6. To train them how to lead Bible study (one-on-one and small group).
7. To train them how to evangelize
8. To mentor young leaders
   
9. To give them exposures in our church planting ministry
   
10. Guide them to discover their divine calling and use their spiritual gifts
11. To help them finish their study up to college.
12. Teach them to disciple young fellow Christians
13. Encourage them to become missionary among the poor
14. Teach them to become a blessing to others (not only a receiver but a giver too)
15. Provide skills training program to help them  find job more easily
    

We are using different strategies depending on the needs of our community. Basically we do the following:

1. Community-based
   
   • House- to- house evangelism
   • Street evangelism
   • Friendship evangelism (like sports and other activities appropriate for the group)
   • Youth camp (Evangelistic, Leadership, Team building)
     
     
2. Campus-based
   
   • Workshop (acting/drama, puppetry etc.)
   • Basic computer literacy (word, excel, power point and publisher)
   • Tutorial
   • Scholarship grant thru other network
   • Youth camp (Evangelistic, Leadership, Team building)
   • Group Bible study
     
     

 

Community - Mobilizing youth in different slum communities/churches of Metro Manila and nearby rural communities. We have outreaches in Payatas, Montalban, Antipolo, Cainta, Taytay, Cavite, Las Pinas, Valenzuela, Novaliches, Balara and Fairview with an average of 10 youth actively involved in each community.  Most of them are from poor family, incomes are below the minimum wage. Most of their parents are working as construction workers, vendors, doormat maker and scavengers.

Church Partner - We partner with a local church where we endorse all youth we can bring.  All of our church partners are located within the slum communities. In each area, we assign a youth coordinator and their job basically is to evangelize and organize young people. July 2008, by the grace of the Lord, we started our campus ministry at the University at Montalban Rizal and in God’s will, to begin the ministry at the Pamantasan ng Montalban.

Network
As NGO we also do our best to work along with other agencies with the same passion in ministry especially among the poor. We seek assistance from other organization to fund our activities.
