The resurrection of Jesus heralded the beginning of a new life, God-life, kingdom-of-God life, eternal life, Spirit-filled life. Someone finally went into hell and suffered the full wrath of the just God. But hell could not contain the Son of God. Hell could not imprison the Spirit of Jesus. Having satisfied the just requirement of God for righteousness by absorbing the ignominy and pain of the cross, by dying the death of a sinner, and by suffering the punishment of hell, Jesus gets out of the black hole of hell and comes back to life. |

There are 586 slums in Metro Manila alone. These are homes for the poor. But they remain the frontier for evangelical mission work. In five years time starting June of this year, I would like to recruit and train 100 men and women to do holistic church planting in these areas.
